WHAT WE DO
The EAA works to champion the highest standards of humanitarian practice and public accountability. The current ten members aim to realise the power of joint action among experienced humanitarian aid agencies.
Why a global alliance?
The Emergency Appeals Alliance was established in order to further increase the benefits of collaboration and improve members’ collective impact.
Why joint appeals?
National collaboration among humanitarian relief agencies creates unique opportunities to reduce costs, strengthen fundraising results, enhance accountability and improve the quality of communication.
The Emergency Appeals Alliance was established in 2013 with the goal of creating a more cooperative, cohesive and cost effective way of funding and delivering humanitarian aid. It is the first global alliance of its kind.
